Culture Night is Northern Ireland's largest arts and cultural celebration. The event attracts thousands of visitors to Belfast City Centre each year to enjoy the best arts and culture the city has to offer.

In 2018 Kaleidoscope once again took charge of planning and delivery of Culture Night on behalf of the Cathedral Quarter Trust.

The 10th anniversary programme packed in more than 250 events including a world record breaking tap-dance performance featuring over 400 dancers and a outdoor wrestling ring. The birthday celebrations were topped off with a breath-taking lighting event at Belfast Cathedral.

For our second year in charge, Kaleidoscope introduced a number of innovations including a new Culture Night App which allowed users to access the entire Culture Night programme, select events to attend, set reminders, plan their visit and receive real time updates. The Culture Night App was immensely popular, achieving more than 8000 downloads in a single day. We also managed to substantially increase corporate sponsorship for the event by attracting major new investment from Bank of Ireland and Power NI.

Culture Night 2018 attracted more than 80,000 visitors and injected more than £1m into the local economy.
